Health-care workers, volunteers and communities at risk

Are you part of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement?
Are you concerned about violence against health-care workers and patients?
Are you working in armed conflict or other emergencies?

At a workshop during the next Council of Delegates experts and managers from the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement will discuss how to secure access to health care in armed violence.

Help us bring the debate closer to the reality in the field and find solutions.

The workshop is part of the Movement’s Health Care in Danger project.

It will focus specifically on several topics that came up during some of Health Care in Danger expert workshops, where many National Societies participated.

  • dealing with “follow-up attacks”
(situations where the same location is targeted several times while first responders are intervening)
  • measures to support ambulance workers and prevent misuse of ambulances
  • different ways to mobilize States, authorities, the health care community and other actors to help secure health care

On this platform, you can vote for the questions that you would like to have answered during the workshop.

Here is the question I'd like the workshop to discuss:

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.
